there was a lot of chat recently about who told Umbridge about the DA. Well test screenings in chicago confirmed who it was and how/why
it was Cho, Umbridge slipped a truth serum into her drink

typical. pretty girl's face is never scarred, frekled, or suddenly covered in pimples, fur, or boils. fine, whatever.

id so like to see the SNEAK pustules over someone's face. need not necessarily be Cho. Id prefer Zacharias, actually.

i watched or read something about that recently.. in one of the interviews i think.. i just forgot what.

in the book... it was marietta (cho's ravenclaw friend with the big reddish blonde curly hair) who squealed and told umbridge because her parents work at the ministry.

BUT, for the movie... to make it less of a hassle (i guess).. they just put the blame on cho chang.

which i dont like. boo! but oh well! Smile

I was pissed when the movie implied that it was Cho; it ruins her whole character!

She has no character anymore anyway. not like she's going to be in the 7th book. I think she was mentioned once in HBP

Yeah that was explained at the end of the film, to explain why Snape had no serum left. In the book she is surposed to have used it on Harry.[/spoiler]

But then they would have to explain Harry and Cho separating. This way they could just get rid of her. The kiss was well done tho

Well, they should have done the Valentine's Day chapter. That was how they were meant to lead to the break up. And then that Marietta fiasco. Couldn't have been too difficult. And now Cho's parents work at the Ministry in the movie.

The thing that got to me was... Harry was upset with Cho because she ratted out the D.A. to Umbridge. But then, later on, Snape lets in known that Umbridge used the truth serum on Cho. So it really wasn't her fault she told, she was tricked.

If they had let it alone, that she told on them because of her mother's job, then I could see Harry still being mad. But after he found out it wasn't her fault, then you would think when got the chance he'd make up with her.

Of course, I'm only talking about the movie. In the book they fell apart because of numerous reasons. But since they took out the V-Day scene, then they left us with a very unconvincing reason as to why Harry and Cho fell apart. Unless you count the part Harry ditched Cho to go see Hagrid. I could see why she'd turn him, she was angry. But again, she was tricked, so it wasn't her fault, was it?

....with Cho next to her I was like 'what??' I couldnt work out what I'd missed and then I realised that they changed it... Twisted Evil
