Perhaps you should have included an article with this. Here is one that Ginny posted in the Equus thread:

Harry Potter star mourns Banbridge granny

Daniel Radcliffe is mourning the loss of his Ulster-born gran.

Elsie Radcliffe — the teenager’s biggest fan — died on Thursday after a long battle against illness.

The 79-year-old Banbridge woman had been suffering from heart-related problems.

Daniel (19) had been very close to his grandmother and had made frequent visits to her at her Co Down home.

The young actor, currently filming the latest Harry Potter movie and starring in a play in New York, is expected to fly into Northern Ireland tomorrow for the pensioner’s funeral.

Elsie, who had been living with her daughter Linda and son-in-law Drew, told friends she was her grandson’s number one fan.

Last year, the retired hospital worker flew to London to see him on stage in the controversial play Equus.

Said a family friend: “She just lover her grandson so much and was so proud of him. Elsie was his number one fan and loved all the Harry Potter movies.”

Daniel was born in west London, the son of Elsie’s son Alan Radcliffe, a literary agent, and his wife, Marcia, a casting agent.

Elsie Radcliffe’s funeral will take place from the First Presbyterian Non-Subscribing Church on the Downshire Road, Banbridge this afternoon

^ I don't know how accurate that article is... Daniel doesn't start to film DH until February, lol.

Oh sorry about that. Umm, I thought about that. But to me it's private.

Well, the reason why I posted the article in the Equss thread was because the death of his grandmother has him flying back to the UK. This absence will cause him to miss performing in some shows. Again, I dont' know how accurate the article is because the got the filming date for DH wrong.

^^ I don't understand what you mean by private. The article doesn't give anything away about the actual funeral, and you're the one who made an entire thread about it. That's sort of defeats the purpose of not posting an article, now doesn't it?

That makes no sense. Why shouldn't people see tha article? There is nothing private in that article.

I understand what you are saying, but then why did you create a thread about it?
And the reason why there is talk at all about his grandmother is because there was a chance he was going to fly to the UK for a bit and miss some shows. People need to be made aware of it if they had tickets.

EDIT: He opted to stay in NY and perform. I posted an article about this in the Equus thread.

^ I still don't see the privacy issue with the article. Articles are always posted when people die. I would think that famous wouldn't mind the world knowing, so that they can have an acceptable reason to not have peak performances. Fans also like to give their condolences. The whole idea that there is a privacy issue with posting an article really goads me.
