"Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama's last name was spelled "Osama" on three hundred absentee ballots mailed out this week in Rensselaer County, New York."

"Bugbee told the TimesUnion.com that despite having three different staff members look over the ballot, "somehow the typo got by us.""

B isn't even close to S on the keyboard. But if Fox News did it why isn't the election committee allowed too!

^Do you have a source to site?

That's nothing new... CNN showed the caption of "Where's Obama" during a news story of then questioning where Osama Bin Laden was. Wolf Blitzer apologized.
And some lady on FOX News actually joked about killing Obama saying that hopefully someone would kill him and Osama after she accidentally said the wrong name.

And the fact that his full name is Barack Hussein Obama...well, here is an older video...

Oh sorry.

The media being idiots is one thing, we all kind of expect that, but the actual bipartiscan election committee? Not a good start.

It's disturbing that it happened in NY, which is such a blue state. Then again, when i saw where in NY this happened... it doesn't surprise me too much.

On first glance you'd assume that it would be more likely to happen in conservative areas but when you consider the fact that THREE people get to check the papers before they're printed - someone from the Dems, the Republicans and an independant I presume, it's really weird something like that could have happened.

That is a conservative area, was what I meant. NY state, as a whole, is blue, meaning the state usually goes to the democrat in the end. However, that area of NY is more conservative than the rest of the state, for the most part.

I figured that out and my post was a response to that.
