I've only read Pride and Prejudice and I started Emma. I loved P&P but Emma lost my interest...I only got like half way through. It seemed the story was going nowhere in a hurry and nothing seemed to have a point. It was pleasant...but I just couldn't read as much of it as there was. P&P and Emma should have switched lengths. I intend someday to finish Emma, but I'm not sure when.
oh yes and I read Love and Friendship, basically a parody of early melodramatic novels, it was hilarious. _________________

I have all her books, I'm a big fan. My favorite is Mansfield Park. I like the main character in that book the best. Pride and Prejudice is probably my second favorite. _________________ "Enter, stranger, but take heed

I've only read Pride and PRejudice. I did enjoy it. I watched the movie Emma, and I HATED the end of it. I don't want to read the book just because I wanted that B**** to freaking end up screwed in the end. Instead it turned out like a SMeyer ending. Everyone was happy, even the meddling idiot who thinks that she is better than everyone else.
I hate to judge it from the movie, but I really just have so many things to read, that I hate to pick up another book that has a great potential to disappoint. _________________

I love Jane Austen, my favorites are probably Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensebility (though Marianne really bugs me) I've read all of her books, they are wonderful. _________________ Sometimes the world can seem a cruel and unforgiving place.
