oooooo a spiffy new relationships thread

first off, good job thinking outside the fawkes i mean box.

but yea i can support this ship i mean his brother had the goats, whats to say a flaming bird didnt have the hots for him?

although, it is a british story... and in britspeak a bird is a female (maybe think like how americans say chicks) so that would be an issue with DDs gayness.

maybe... it was fawkes who loved him and it was unrequitted

that is because it was said in Jacara Daily August 19, 2008

Spoiler:

Quote:

Henrietta Tummysworth asked "Ms. Rowling, why is it that there are so many references to human/animal relations in the Harry Potter series?"

JKR replied "Call me Jo, and what do you mean by human/ animal relations?"

HT "Well, Jo, there was Aberforth and the goats, McGonnagal and Mrs. Norris, Dumbledore and Fawkes, Voldemort and Nagini, etc."

JKR (chuckles) "Well I write about these things because I am an interspecies romance advocate."

HT "Oh my!!"

JKR "Yes just the other day I was on holiday in San Juan and ***THE REST OF THIS INTERVIEW HAS BEEN REMOVED TO KEEP THE PG13 RATING***"

How d'you know. It's like in the books. It doesn't decribe any of the Human/Pet relationships in too much detail. I'm sure DD did really care for Fawkes.

I thought it was perfectly normal to love an animal in a non sexual kinda way. O.o

That could just be me though, Terribly oldfashioned as I am of course.

Voldemort had a fantastic relationship with Nagini. I always thought Fawkes and Nagini should have had a fight. How cool would that have been!
