Did you like Dumbledore's funeral at the end?

I really liked it. I had to cry because his death was so sad. I read this chapter over and over again, because it was so amazing!

What do you think about it?

I like how even the centaurs saluted him, and they're not too pleased with humans, so that's saying a lot! what a great man Sad

I also liked it. I thought it was awesome how the tomb was created from the flames. That will look amazing on screen!

I hope the funeral'll be good in the film, but I think it'll be hard.

There is no funeral in the movie. I've given up hope. I have. Rolling Eyes

Yea, the funeral was one of my favorite scenes in the book. I loved how she brought back so many characters.

I really wish they were putting the scene in the movie...but I understand how hard (and expensive) it would be for them to bring back all the characters that were there.

I think someone is confusing the funeral with the wedding. At Bill and Fleur's wedding the chair broke. At the funeral Grawp patted Hagrid's shoulder and hagrid's chair sank into the ground.
Harry felt like laughing when he remember DD's first words during his first evening at Hogwarts.

i thought the funeral was ok. i'm glad the focus wasn't actually on what was said at the funeral.
i don't think dumbledore should've been buried at hogwarts, but that's another story.

I completely agree... the centaurs paying tribute to him was a great touch.

I loved his funeral... and Harry's reactions and thoughts during it felt so real and relatable to me.

The funeral was so depressing! So sad that of course I needed to cry. I was imagining how hard Hagrid was crying. I think I'll cry more when I see the movie. I totally can't wait and I think that the actors in Harry Potter will do hard work for crying. It was so sad to see Fawkes crying in my imagination.

Gee, thanks. For your info, I have been very busy and yesterday I bearly got a chance to go to the Harry Potter Forum. I am so busy. Thanks though. That director really takes out the most greatest parts of a book.
