haven't these two already hooked up? If not, what was all that arguing about that culminated in Ron stroking Hermione's hair at the funeral?

Frankly I have had enough of these two. If you refer to when they will do more than they have done, I hope it is in the epilogue!

Harry and Ginny lock them in a room together by "accident" and say that it is stuck and there ganna go get Mr. Weasley but just leave them there for a few house.
Adn in the room they get to talking and confess there feelings.

Yeah, that would piss a lot of people off, but I thought I heard somewhere that JKR said Hermione will "meet" someone. So, the chances of Ron and Hermione hooking up are about 99.999%. Lol, she clued it so much...

And I agree, I think they will hook up at the wedding, ron can ask her for a dance, and admit his feelings there.

well.. i remember i read somewhere that Jo mentioned that Viktor Krum will be back in the 7th book and I don't see how he can be important to the plot besides making Ron jealous and i think that's how it'll happen.. Hermione goes on a date with Krum and then Ron can't take it anymore and confesses his love.. haha that would be good.. i can see that happening but who knows.. Jo is pretty unpredictable with her storytelling.

It's quite obvious. They hook up at Harry's funeral at the end of book 8!
