By Louis Sachar, the book is AMAZING. Seriously the plot is just so cleverly written and glued all together at the end. Its also real cute and entertaining. Has anyone else read it?? BTW disney made it into a movie, but don't let that turn it off for you.

Reminds me far too much of the horrors of year 8.
I've read that book about fifteen times.

But I'll agree, it is a really good book.

I have the book and have read it many times and Holes is the reason I started thinking of Shia Labeouf as more than just "Ren's little brother". Wink

By the way, I stopped watching Disney Channel when Even Stevens was cancelled.

Even Stevens was never intended to be a long-running show.

I never realized then that Shia Labeouf was such a great budding actor! I just really loved his hair and that show. It's great to see a child star turn it out as a serious, professional actor and shatter the has-been child star ideal that people have built up.

I read it back in elementary.. It came out in 98 and I think I was like 11 or something. lol

I loved the book when I was younger.. It's still a great book though.

I didn't really like it. Maybe it was because I had to do many school stuff about it, but it's not the type of books I usually read.

Me too, Disney channel was no good after that show was gone.

I totally feel the same.

He is the only good actor to come out of Disney channel or Nickelodeon, in my opinion.

I've never read Holes, but I saw the movie. I didn't like the beginning much and I almost changed the channel. But I'm glad I didn't, it turned out to be a really good movie.
