lol probably one of the fakest mermaids I've ever seen.
If it were real, don't you think the media and scientists would be all over this thing? Hmmm. Or maybe the government would store it in a fridge at Area 51 and tell us that they found a bag of Dorritos.

Nope. not real. Hollywood has created more convincing monsters.
I agree with ravvy, why are all these creatures which we imagined as majestic and wonderful looking like something out of soem bad sci-fi channel movie.

But anyway, since the article discussing the image was uncovered, I'm going to have to agree with "statue." 
The possibility of life on Mars had people freaking out for months. I'm sure if a mermaid body was discovered scientists would begin constructing vessels for deep sea exploration faster than you could count to three.
