I figured I would share a little information with Potterforums. One of the best ways to increase traffic to your forums is to add your url to a few search engines. I have created a list of places you can add your url, feel free to use them to your will.

Every single link is free to promote your forums, although, some require your e-mail address. If there is a high demand I'll stick this thread so others have a greater chance of having a more popular forums. Remember, this takes Patience and a lot of luck.

Edit:

When adding your URL to Yahoo you have to enter your Yahoo E-mail and password. If you're not registered with Yahoo, you can't submit your url.

I believe Baidu is a Chinese search engine. If you have problems with the page you can submit the address into google's search. Google has the ability to translate the page.

wow this is really helpful thanks! also since the rules topic is locked my cousin has this really funny comic strip about colledge. unfortunately there is some cursing in it. can i promote if i warn about the cursing?
