I agree with Nightwind
Nightwind wrote:
I agree with everything said. It was the worst movie as far as staying close to the book, at least. And yeah, Voldemort in a suit? Just...no.

and yeah i mean with what Micki2626 said because it didnt do anything at grimauld place with the cleaning and all. that was a really important part because of the locket. then the whole part with mrs weasley trying to keep the trio all busy so they couldnt talk to each other. also the boggart with Mrs. Weasley.

and yes too much was left out and changed. I can honestly say I didnt really care for it, i mean for me most of my favorite parts were either cut or change and it made me mad. I'm a bit worried about the next movies, I mean definetly the half blood prince because its my favorite out of all the books. Mostly because of the parts with draco in it, if they cut out those ones or change them..oOoh Im writing a strongly worded letter to them Mad (Xd)

I must admit that I rarely look up to clothing when posting a rant about a movie - I mean, when saying my personal opinion. I look more to what was removed, what was changed, and what was added.

Why did they HAVE to put this annoying Nigel prick? Colin is just him, why not him?
Sorry, Ralph, but you are NOT scary. We need another Voldemort.
Snape's Worst Memory... this is something I HATED. >.<
I could go on for ages and ages but anyway. What matters is that Harry Potter directors are like politicians.

1) Now they look like they've really learnt from their mistakes in the past and they are really looking like they want to make up.
2) Sad thing is that some people believe them.

I thought this movie was atrocious! So much was left out and the screen-writer's even ADDED scenes that weren't necessary!

What the hell?

I would love love love to know what they are going to do about the locket. Are they just going to randomly notice it on Umbridge's neck?

When I read this last part I got a horrible vision in my head that I doubt will not happen in the 7th film: Harry looking like the big wizard in the courtroom looks around and sees the locket then his scar hurts and he sees a vision of something that makes him know that the locket is a horcrux. Haha, I should direct the 7th movie so that you can be even more disappointed ^^

They did a great job on the commercials but that was about it. The parts that they had were great. They just left so much stuff out. Is anybody else up for a Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix Extended Version? I surely am. I voted that it was good but it could be better.

i agree with the fact that the movie was pretty bad, it was still enjoyable but they missed WAY too many scenes, come of them crucial for other movies. but one things for sure, emma watson is getting hotter after every movie ^^

No, it was worse the GoF...

They cut out important parts and spent too long on parts that had little important. Take Grawp from instance. That should've taking 5-10 minutes. But it was like 20 minutes long.

The kiss. Yes, it's wonderful that Harry and Cho finally kissed but the kiss was quite long.

It wasn't bad. But I imagined it differently.

The fifth movie is my least favourite, but I wouldn't exactly call it the worst movie ever. I mean, sure it was pretty good, but it did have some flaws and it didn't seem as great as the others, IMO.

Well, first of all: (I didn't know whether to put a spoiler tag here or not, but I did just in case.)

Spoiler:

Sirius's death was much different than I thought it'd be. It seemed pretty... well, fast and they didn't put much time/effort into it. There was no sound at that part - which kinda confused me. xD

Also, the battle wasn't exactly the most epic thing I have ever seen, either. They all used one spell and it kinda seemed... ehh, it's hard to explain. Confused

Well, anyway, I should stop rambling on now. As you can see, I'm really not good at explaining things. Hopefully the Half Blood Prince will be better.

Why does everyone think GOF was so bad!
It was my favourite one!
OOTP missed out my favourite part!
Spoiler:

Where Harry gets banned from quidditch for hitting Draco Smile

And it was just very rushed.

I think the Goblet Of Fire was the worst one...well I just found it boring. I think pt 5 is the best so far.

How so? I've found almost everything wrong with HP5, it's almost, er, it IS ridiculous.

I liked it cause it had more action than the others. When I saw parts 2-4 in the theaters, I kept looking at my watch thinking to myself..damn this is a long movie. I was getting bored. But 5...never once looked at my watch. Actually said ''that's it!'' when it was over. I wanted it to be longer. Doesn't matter to me if they cut out stuff from the book, or changed things. It kept me entertained that's what I liked.

And although the basic principle behind movie-making is to keep the viewers entertained, one of the main points of making Harry Potter a movie is to not only entertain the viewers but entertaining them by filming the scenes they actually read in the book! If you can't appreciate that, then you are not a true Harry Potter fan. Unless of course, you prefer the books, in which I completely agree. But if Harry Potter wasn't made into a movie, we would've never gotten Matthew Lewis on the big-screen and I would be sad. Crying

Just because they change things in the movie, (OOTP isn't the first movie to do that & sure won't b the last) and it doesn't bother me doesn't mean I'm not a true fan. I read the first 4 books after I seen the movies. Yea..the books are better because they have more in them that's y I read them even though I already saw the movies. I'm a true fan....believe that. Very Happy

I liked the film, just a load of stuff being cut out doesn't help.

I didn't like it. Parts that needed to be longer were shortened. Parts that wasn't needed was added in and took too long.
