I couldn't get into mouse hunt, personally. But packrat is so addicting... i just wish everything didn't cost so many credits... I'm tired of seeing the rats with the same things over and over again.

Yeah, I pretty much did. Lost interest, and all the new packs are too expensive, like Ginny said. You can't get anything good without going around the other packs and picking up random credits for like 12 hours. I tried to get back into it like a couple weeks ago, but I'm just not into it anymore. :[

And I agree with Kev. Mouse Hunt is pretty fun if you have the right strategy and whatnot.

packrat has completely revamped their game, and i was resistant at first but it has since grown on me. it has all the fun of ffa and co-op (free for all and co -op are two ways of playing packrat.)

the basic idea of the game is you have cards and you try to accomplish what is called a feat by collecting all the cards and vaulting them. sounds easy enough right? but some cards are only available as a pop up (which is now called a draw card) and some need to be built. (which is done by choosing "make card", highlighting the three cards that make the recipe and clicking the "make card" button at the bottom)

http://packrat.bluwiki.com/
http://packrat.bluwiki.com/go/Packrat
http://www.packratwiki.com/PackRat

this is how "your pack" (well mine) looks.

Spoiler:

the instructions are in the links

when you browse friends their pack will look like this...

Spoiler:

you can freely take from the shared stash but when it comes to the friend's pack you have to ask to trade and wait for them to accept or decline.

you can also purchase most cards from the market. (excpt those elusive pop ups) but it seems that they pop up more often now than they did before.

**********TIP: if you are gonna sit idol advance a page every 5 minutes or so and you get a pop up (or at least thats how its been working for me)

that is about it, you can steal from the rats freely

well that is the tutorial and i urge all of you to try it. it is a fun and addicting game. <33

i know but its sorta like being co-op where you ask a friend for a card. you can freely steal from their shared stash though.

What I don't get is how cards get to the shared pack..I mean I understand how you can get shared cards into your pack, but how to shared cards get there? Is it by random or something? I don't get it. Sad

the shared cards in your pack (the box at the bottom) is from your friends that drop cards for credits or to swap for a card that is already there. you can pick one or all of them up if you like, depending on the space in your safe pack.

when you are browsing friends and you see there are two sections the top section is the shared pack where you can drop cards for them to pick up or others to share.

did that make sense? if not i can put up screen shots later

pm me if u need clarification

also a lil tip....

when you go to browse friends there are 3 choices to the left.. packrat friends, the rats, all friends.

packrat made packs for everyone on your friends list just in case they ever wanna play. but you can 1-store cards in the shared stash but unfortunately cannot take from their packs without them accepting the trade.

and 2- when you go to all friends you can get rid of unwanted cards for credits. Smile

Yeah, I understood after further exploring of the game. I guess this new system makes it a little bit easier to play, sometimes a little harder. I think I might like this way better, I'm not sure, lol. Thanks Rav Smile

I dont' like how we can't try to steal... I mean ask Rolling Eyes ...for a card that is only lower than the card you have. I need high cards and I can't afford them. Is there a way around it that I am not seeing?

yes, there were soooo many complaints they changed it. you can steal from the rats with lower cards (within reason of course) and the shared packs can be used to trade up. Smile

dude packrat should so be giving me some kick backs for this lol

i should get tickets

I never got to play the old packrat, so I don't know what it was like. Sad I know that people used to steal things from me all the time, and it made me feel lonely that I couldn't play. I'm now addicted to the new packrat, and my studies are being neglected. Shame on Ravvy!

LoL . . . That is like like comparable to a group of alcoholics turning their addiction-prone friend into an alcoholic, and then standing him up one day at the bar to go to an AA meeting. That's not fair!
