Why was Mrs. Weasley upset with Hermione after Rita Skeeter's article?
Was it because she was supposedly dating Harry and Krum at the same time?
Or because Mrs. Weasley knew Ron liked Hermione?
Or am I just delusional to not know the answer?

Well, she read Skeeter's article, so obviously she's like a mother towards Harry... Imagine your mom realizes you're in a love triangle like Hermione's(boy-girl-boy). How do you think your mum would feel about the girl in the triangle?

According to the article, Hermione dumped Harry for Viktor.
So basically, Mrs. Weasley was upset because the boy she thought of as her son was ditched by a girl who was best friends with her son and the other boy she thought of as her son.

i agree on that too. througout the books, she displayed motherly affections towards Harry ever since the first book when Harry went looking for platforms 9 3/4.
