Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Beyblade for me. Although that was when I was a kid and had no idea the word anime existed.
Then, in grade 6, I learned about Inuyasha from a friend, and I became an anime nut

i use to watch Yu-gi-oh, pokemon and digimon but i had no idea they were anime shows. but wat made me start watchin anime was inuyasha and Prince of Tennis

I guess Dragon Ball Z was the first anime I ever watched back when I was 8 or 9 and I used to watch Beyblade when it came out but the true anime that got me into the whole world of anime was probably the movie that was made back in the 80's called AKIRA. Ghost in the shell and Spirited away were other movies that got me watchin it more too tho.

I don't watch Anime anymore
but Digimon, Pokemon, and InuYasha started it for me, I thought it was the greatest thing in the world lol |

Pokemon, DB, DBZ, Inuyasha, and Naruto. They started it for me. I started watching Pokemon and DB when I was like five but had no idea what anime was at the time.

The first anime I watched that I was aware was anime was Inuyasha. Before that, I watched Pokemon and Sailor Moon and stuff, but I had no idea it was anime. Of course I do now, and I'm horribly disgusted with that level of Americanization, but yeah.

I was SOO in love with it.... but as I got older..

The first anime that I watched in my adult life, the one that really got me into anime was Trigun. I really didn't want to watch it, but it's my husbands favorite. So I watched it with him and now I'm hooked.

I remember watching Pokemon when I was about 8.
