Do you think Harry should have told Neville that it could have been him in Harry's place? I just wondered...

D'uh. Judging from Neville's personality as he evolves, he would take it normally. Neville, ever since the chapter Bellatrix Lestrange escaped from Azkaban, is seen as being oddly mature as he is growing to be a true Gryffindor. If Harry told him, he would probably shrug it off.

Its still would be a scary thought, though. It could have been him that had to kill Vdmt.
Its like walking up to him and saying, "Hey, Neville, You know how Voldemort has killed my parents, hunted me down and tried to kill me six times? Well it could have been you that almost died at the age of eleven."
You see what I'm saying?

I think in this case, ignorance is bliss. Eventually the story of the prophecy might come out, and people would put two and two together. But I don't think that, with everything Neville had to deal with, it owuld have been nice of Harry to add an extra load onto his shoulders.

Exactly. And then I would have to come to the rescue and calm Neville down.
