This is actually not me or anyone I know, just made up a girl and she writes about the days before her 21st birthday.
Day One
Yes, its only 21 days till my 21st birthday, and your probably wondering, why to celebrate in a diary? Why? Because, a few months ago, my grandmother, Julie, told me that it was her 21st and she did not know how to prepare herself, she thought of all kinds of ways, but needed a planner.
But seeing she hates planners, she got a diary, to suggest a few things and write about her 21 days waiting.
I found it quite clever and fun to do, so I decided to do it myself! So far, I feel more organised, but seeing my grandmother told me not to use a planner, I decided to start off with the most important things first instead of going straight to the point.
In the morning, I done my usual, get up, get dressed (into nice clothes)< brushed my teeth, had some breakfast (cereal) and went out to the car, ready to go shopping for some things I can afford for the party now and what I can't later. Just to plan it out, I sneakily took a notepad with me, I found a pen in the car once I got to the shops, I smiled and went out, seeing if my car was parked in the wrong places, but it was correct, so I moved towards the doors, which opened infront of me.
Forgetting it was a Sunday, I went to the $2 Shop, it was closed. I looked for the Party Celebration kits in the big toy shop, the store was closed aswell. I suddenly went mad and went to the car, angry and annoyed. Why weren't the shops open? Was there a good-luck then bad-luck system running through me, no, it was a Sunday. How forgetfull of me.
I wondered what should I have for lunch. I didn't want any takeaway, so I went home and enjoyed a nice salad sandwich. It wasn't perfect, but it was good in ways. Lunch was almost done when all of an sudden, I recieved an letter, it was from Eden, my best friend.
I ripped it open and read the message:
Dear Sarah,
glad to hear that your party is not going to be on the wrong day this time, that diary is sure going to help you alot. Anyway, I can come, but I might have to take Henry with me, mum and dad can't look after them because their going salsa dancing, if only that dance wasn't invented, anyway, ring me if you want at any time. PS: 21 DAYS!
From Eden.
5 Hours Later
I finally came out of my room, I looked around to see if anything had occured while I had a relaxing nap, but everything was fine. I moved along to the kitchen, nothing moved. I checked my phone, no messages, not even from Eden, what was going on? Was the bad-luck permanant?
I moved to pantry, grabbing a bag of spaghetti, I got out some pans and went to the stove, checking for any problems, but none.
...the story will continue...but right now I'm editing the next part to the day. _________________
