Do you think that Severus Snape and Lily Evans should have gotten together? Cast your vote and, if you want to, give us a few reasons as to why you think this.

Personally, i vote yes because I like snape and feel bad for him. I also think James Potter was an 'arrogant toerag'.

I would have liked them to be together but James and Lily more so because Severus was a coward.He did not have to become a death eater.He could have had Lily had he not.I can't say things worked out for the best but in the end James and Lily belonged together-for what little time they had together.Could you picture Lily with babe in arms,her muggle-born,Severus a Death Eater-I don't think that would have ended to good but neither did her being with James Thinking

..either way she dies once you think about it.But all that makes for great fanfictions!

I really like Severus,he's one of my favorite characters-I know I might have come across as I don't like him but I do...very much

i would hav loved them 2 be 2gether.

but wat i want and wat should happen are completly different.

i havent quite worked out how lily and james got 2gether seeing as she hated him.

James and Lily are much better...

Snape was a said before a coward if James and Lily hadent gotten together we would not have Harry.

So James+LilY=Harry=Harry Potter Series lol

Severus was not a coward! I don't see anybody ELSE going up against the Dark Lord with only their (stunningly brilliant) minds as weapons. It took a LOT of courage to be a spy for Dumbledore. Dumbledore himself said so, he thought Sev was very brave.

And personally, i thought he was kind of hot when he was a kid *grins sheepishly* I watched that part of the 5th movie a billion times just to see Sev.

But i can see where you're right about there being no Harry Potter...maybe there'd be a Harry Snape? lol.

James and Lily were what we call, "Ron and Hermione: The First Generation". Snape was a little crazy in the head, but he was still a great character! Still, James and Lily all the way!

I think Lily and Snape would be the best couple. I don't really like James and ship Lily - Sev every time I can. =)

No, James and Lily loved eachother. Which was kind of the whole point. Snape loved Lily but knew he could never have her.

Severus and Lily. He loved her more than James did... The only reason she didn't go with snape was because he was into the dark arts. If Snape had dropped all that i would pick him and Lily. James was always a stuck up, troublemaking schoolboy anyway.
