maybe a new hide out because dumbledore told harry the school will never truely be close and hogworts will always be there if help is needed not exsact words but in the end of book 6 before dumbledore dies

That is very true. Maybe it will serve as a sort of a safe ground. Because there is a lot of aincent magic there...

I really don't think JKR, after basing six books around Hogwarts, would suddenly move the story away from there. She will, I think do shoot offs to other places but Hogwarts will be the base of where the story is surrounded.

Whenever I picture the final battle, I picture it happening at Hogwarts.

) that Hogwarts won't play an important role in the book.

As others said, it's the basis of the previous 6 books, there's no way we won't see it in some capacity.

There is no guarantee that Harry, Ron, and Hermione won't attend. They could have a change of heart or Lupin or someone could say that Dumbledore would have wanted you to finish your education.

In that way they could use it as a base and they could leave and apperate to the places they need to go and adventure for horcruxes.

Yeah I know it's not likely but it's not implausible.

hogwarts isn't the main place of the stories, its just a location. the true story is the coming of age of harry, the boy who lived.

all the horcruxes aren't going to be at Hogwarts, one might be. but just one. he needs to go other places to find them all, and he's not going to be able to do that what with NEWTs coming up.

and his parents THRONE? wtf? they weren't royalty. and just because harry's going to godrics hollow that doesn't mean the final battle is going to be there. YOU are the one acting like an insufferable know-it-all, and the worst kind.

Hogwarts will almost positively be setting to at least part of the book. I mean, like some of you have already said, it's been the basis of the books, from first to sixth, starting early in the chapters, and ending at the end(if you understand what I mean).

So yeah, I'm almost positive that Hogwarts will have SOMETHING to do with the book.
