expected it to be somewhere along the lines of a villian, but never pinpointed snape. just never put the potions book and his old office together

i knew it was snape from the time when slughorn said Harry was really good at potions and snape went "really?" and when he knew just what to do to malfoy to fix him....plus we already knew from the fifth book he was kind of an outcast kid...couldn't u just picture him doing something like that. totally knew Very Happy

I'm not going to vote, I really didn't have a choice whether to expect Snape at all. Whenever a new Harry Potter book comes out, my sister finishes it as fast as she can, and then she purposely spoils the book on me. Luckily, she lives in Chicago now so all I had to do was shut off my computer for Deathly Hallows.

i had no clue until it was revealed. I thought it would either be dumbledore or voldemort.

i voted no. but its complicated cause somebody ruined my suprise of who the HBP was. they were talking extremly loud and i over heard..

but when i was reading the book i was like "there is no way he is" and when i did get to the end. i was still shocked. lol .

I was in a total fog, since I had never thought Snape would be such an important character. I thought it would be some Marauder or some other name of Voldemort, I had even thought Dumbledore, but Snape never even crossed my mind.
