Jenn watched from the crowd and as the battle ended she ran down back stage to meet them coming from it, "That was a really good battle." she smiled.

Hai smiled and then hugged Beautifly.
She took the ribbon from the MC,And put it in her case.
"We won!" She said to Piplup.

The contest was over and Hai,Jenn and Slash were outside. "Where to now?" Hai asked Jenn.

Jenn thought for a second, "Well I'm not sure that I'm ready yet, but I'd like to battle the gym leader here, the sooner I get my first badge the better I'll feel as a trainer. According to my father anyway." she smiled.

Jenn nodded, "Sounds good, but do you guys think I'm ready for my first gym battle?" she asked. "I think I should get at least one water-type pokemon as the leader of Oreburgh gym uses rock type pokemon." she said.
