They walked to the beach and came up to the water. He continued to walk with her out into the ocean until the water came up to their waists.

"Alright I'll show you what to do," he said as he hopped onto the board and paddled out. He found a wave immediately and turned around, stood on the board and rode the wave down back to Sam where he jumped off into the water by her.

"See that wasn't hard." he said smiling shaking out the water from his hair, "Your turn."

Trey steadied her on by holding her back and legs. "Now we'll start you off from here." He turned her around.
"As soon as a wave comes you need to stand up and keep your balance until the wave dies down. Be careful of falling in shallow water though."

A small wave started to come and Sam began to paddle up to it. She quickly turned around and stood up before falling right back off.
