I actually liked him as a character. Obviously he didn't have enough dynamic to become a long-term character (and I shudder to think of what the Dark Arts program at Hogwarts would've been like had be stayed)...but as far as he went, I thought he was pretty funny, dead annoying, but rather amusing at the same time.
I actually did feel sorry for him at the end. |
