What do you do if your best friend screams with you when you are reading, saying that she don't understand how do you like to do that?
And the thing that hurts the most is that when other friend of yours is reading she doesn't scream, she only do that with me..

What? I wrote more than speak, because I'm portuguese, if I do some mistakes is because I don't practise a lot...

I think she means when she reads hp...or anything? her friend screams at her for liking it. but if her other friend does it, the friend doesn't seem to care.

is that right?

Yes, is that what I mean! And I don't understand why she does that, what should I do?

That's a tricky situation. You've never seen her do it to another one of your friends, even if they were reading the same thing?

I guess just tell her that you don't find it fair when she yells at you and doesn't yell at any of your other friends, even if they're doing the exact same thing. Tell her it hurts you and makes you worried about your friendship, and whatever else you feel about the situation.

Tell her oh well. If you like it, thats all that matters. She shouldn't choose what you like or dislike.

That's another thing I meant to add. Don't let her yelling change your opinion on anything... except maybe her.

No, she only do that with me and I don't understand because I'm her best friends and she do that with me and don't do with other friends that aren't so important as I'm for her and she is for me...

Tell her to stop screaming at you. You read because you enjoy it. If she was your friend she wouldn't scream at you.

When "friends" question your beliefs, likes, or dislikes, it is obvious she doesn't respect you enough to let you do your own thing. Sit her down, and tell her how you feel. It's not fair that she should single you out of a group that reads the same series.

It's possible that she feels the same way toward all of her friends who read it, but just yells at you because you are safe. You're her best friend and she knows you'll love her no matter what. Maybe she's jelous that you're paying more attention to the book, than to her. Not that that's any excuse for her behavior. It's probablly best to just tell her how it makes you feel, and listen to her feelings as well, and hopefully you'll be able to work it out.

Different people,
Different needs,

Tell her something you don't like her doing, and scream at her when she's doing it and see how she feels!

Just tell her if she was really a friend she would respect your likes and dislikes.

If not i like plan B

Obviously, she wants more attention... she thinks that books take you away from her... the next time she does that, just be calm, ask her what's the point of doing it, cause you know that her problem has nothing to do with the books... make her understand that you want to save your friendship, get rid of that behaviour because you care about her, not you and of course, solve the problem... if she continues behaving like that, maybe she wants you to tell her "leave me alone" so that you make yourslef seem mean... if that is true, she isn't a friend, she does not deserve to be called "friend"...
