I first read Half Blood Prince after seeing the Order of the Phoenix movie. After that I read Deathly Hallows and then I read them all in order.

i was in...i think it was 3rd or 4th grade..and my mom got me "Sorcerer's Stone" and I read it and i was hooked! Then I went and got CoS and PoA but was bummed to find out GoF hadn't come out yet. lol.

I have to admit I did start of with Half-Blood Prince because I wasn't into reading. After I read HBP I wanted to continue so i read the 7th and then I went to the first and read the whole series again. Lmao. That's how it started for me. 1st time reading equals life long fan for me

| I started with ootp right after the movie came out. I'm going to read them from the beginning but I have to wait until my birthday in June so i can get books 1-3 again. |

i read SS first and the rest of the books all the way through in order. I started in 3rd gade and like 2 months later i was reading ootp.
it was funny, ootp, at my school, is like 6th grade reading level and when i checked it out i walked by 5th graders and they're like, " wow she's only in 3rg grade" i was so embarsaed cause i thought that 5th graders were sooo cool

I read Prisoner of Azkaban first...my grandma mailed me the third book first, because she thought the '3' was a '1'...a bit into the third, I decided to read the first...since I had no idea what was going on.

I believe it was Sorcerer's Stone. I think it was. And from than on after I read the 1st book I was totally hooked on Harry Potter.
