Personally I hope she doesn't kill him. That would just be ...

Sad. I know, but it might happen. The books keep getting darker and maybe J.K.R wants go for the grand effect...

Hey it could get better. Remember when Chamber came out? Some parents thought that the books had turned too dark for children.

PS I don't think it is all that depressing. I'm sure that is how people are supposed to act like during a war.

This should surely be expected considering wat happened in the 4th book.
As for Harry dying I doubt it will happen it will be a character such as Hagrid or mcgonnal (however u spell her name)

It's McGonagall. I'm not too sure about her dying. Hagrid seems more likely.

Yeah i think a less popular character will die, that would make a lot more sense.

Actually it might be the other way around. The death of a more popular character, like Hagrid or Lupin, would have more effect. That's why Rowling killed off major characters like Sirius and Dumbledore.

That would so suck if it was Lupin. He's the closest thing Harry has to Sirius now...

Yeah, and he probably might die. He's at a lot of risk, hanging around with werewolves who are opposed to his views. It sure will take a lot to kill Hagrid, since he's got that tough giant skin.

I doubt Hargid will die. Most likly Lupin I'm afraid...He was my favourite professor and if he dies I will be sobbing for weeks.

But Siddhu has a point...it's most likly it's going to be a favourite character...then again it could be Ron!

I'm not saying that I know what will happen with Harry dying or anything, but I think that either one is a possibility, and neither would necessarily ruin the story. I think that if he lives, it could certainly be that he would go on and live a life in which he's forever remembered as the one who killed the most evil wizard of all time! However, if he dies, I think he will go on to have the reputation of being the greatest hero who died killing the most evil wizard of all time. Either way, Voldy will be dead in the end, and either way she can certainly make it a glorious ending, just one might make us cry. Sad I like Harry, and I'm not saying I hope he dies, but JKR has proven herself well enough to me now that I certainly believe whatever happens will bring about an amazing ending to this story!

Off toppic, how can I add a link... I can't find it... Embarassed

I’ve heard about that theory, DD is Ron from the future. Thing is that JK took that theory down saying she’s amazed at what fans come up with these days but that DD is not from the future.

yeah, well, after reading the cons to that teory, I will think of them as separate characters... although that evidence is more like a wish, I think is has some logic in it... there are far to many mistakes Dumbledore could have prevented.

I see that as a good thing, fans get to make up their own theories and share them with other fans. It’ll keep the series alive.

Yes, I agree, noone likes to be left hanging. However, I don't think Harry will die. It doesn't seem in the nature of the books. On an unrelated topic, what significance do you guys think Neville will have? I think he will have a big part to play in the end. Why else would Rowling have pulled him into the picture at the end of book 5 with the whole Prophecy thing

Yes, I also am curious to see what she will be doing with Neville in the end, although I have absolutely no theories as to what it will be.

I have no theories about Neville either. Could HE be the Chosen One? Or is that just what Rowling wants us to think, to keep us from seeing something else...?

Also, where the hell has Wormtail been these last two books, and what's going to happen with him in book 7? Will it be something to do with the magical bond between him and Harry?
