upon reading it a 2nd time, a lot of the chapter is about snape, knowing now what i did not know then, i found it funny that the chapter involves him so heavily and the HBP is him.

anyone else notice this on their 2nd read thru?

Whats weird is, despite Snape being featured so heavily in the book, espcially in that chapter, I still wasn't sure if he was the half-blood prince.

LoL . . . Snape never even crossed my muind, which I always find interesting when I read that books. I see all of the hints in hindsight, but I am so completely unperceptive during a first read-through!

I thought it was Lily, with a disguised name.

But now looking back on that chapter, there are so many diffrent things pointing towards him being the HBP.

((I am on the 5th time reading the whole series, just finished that chapter))

i just finished this chapter and i was like, wow, this thing is like all about snape lol

while reading the book i was guessing who the HBP might be and i said like all the characters i could think off but not once did i say snape!

While reading the book i thought that it would be snape and thought that it could have been Lily since Slughorn was always referring Harry to his mother in Potions....which i thought was nice of him to keep mentioning her Very Happy

first thought it was harry cause he was a half-blood. his father was a wizard while his mother is a muggle. Very Happy

ya i noticed it to book 6 is the only book whose almost all of the chapter is all about sanpe

I'm reading the book a 2nd time now and even now I still find it hard to believe it's Snape and not Tom Riddle who's the half blood prince.

I actually noticed that it had a lot to do with snape, but I didn't pay any attention to it, and then when I found out snape was, I was like, "DUH!"
