What's your imagined appearance of Sirius Black? Does it fit with that of the movie?

My own imaged Sirius is more handsome... somewhat like Orlando in Lord of the Rings... though Azkaban'd definitely made him look worse... but the movie one just doesn't fit well with my image of him...

I imagined him more like Viggo lol. though my image of him changed when I found out he was good. his bad boy self...you could barely see his eyes in the shadow of his matted hair. later you could. He doesn't look like movie!Sirius at all either. I was disappointed.

well, i imagined a pale guy, with long black hair tied in a ponytail... i actually imagined him to look like one of my classmates.

but yeah viggo mortensen (er,... howdya spell his name?) wouldnt be too far as well... i didnt imagine him at all to look like gary oldman.

He didn't look how I thought he would. I thought he'd be thinner; his face was supposed to look almost skeletal. His hair also looked tamer than I thought it would.

I kinda thought of him as a mixture of Orlando and Viggo.
Orlando's face and Viggo's rugged-ness (0.o)

Sometimes it does....like in the 3rd one. But i the 5th one he looks too proper I think.

When I saw the promo's for PoA, I was really disappointed. Both Sirius and Lupin looked Totally different to what I thought they'd look like. But then again I don't think anyone who read the books first can honestly say oh they were exactly how I pictured them.

Yeah well I saw the first 3 films before I read the books, so all the actors from the first 3 films were in my mind when I read the books.
But I can see how people wouldn't have pictured him like that.

Yeah whoever cast Sirius and Remus should be shot. They did a horrible job. The Sirius actor isn't quite as bad as Remus, but my blind cat could have done a better job at casting.

Definitely the way Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) looks in the movie is how I imagined he would look. I think they did a great job.

well I imagined the maniac Sirius looking like the maniac, but once he cleaned up, he didn't fit the bill anymore. Remus just looked nothing like the man described. The actor needed to diet a bit for the role.

Yeah, I could deal with the Sirius they chose...it isn't difficult to imagine him good looking in his youth. But is it just me or did they pick a way too pudgy dude to play Lupin? His character just seemed to be thinner and his features less...um...well the dude they chose looks like a policeman, lol. I imagined him more like Nicolas Cage (in ghost rider for instance) but with brown hair...a thinner actor who is not so great looking but who has charisma.

Sirius looks just like I pictured him but they could have worked harder on Lupin to be a bit more poor looking.

i didnt picture sirus who he was. i pictured him to be more handsome and not as dead as they made him look. i think he had more life to him because he was out of azkaban.

and i pictured lupin to be like mr pendanski from holes
