After the god awful disaster that was the Wii, I've lost my respect for Nintendo. I'm going with Sony on this one, because so far, it has the BEST exclusives on the market right now. Uncharted, MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Resistance, R&CF: ToD, Warhawk, Folklore, Eye of Judgment. 'Nuff said. And if you think I'm a Sony fanboy, I'm not. I am a hardcore old-school Nintendo gamer, and I DESPISE the Wii. The Wii is pretty much a half-assed GameCube with motion controls and half the exclusives, and I had a Wii. I traded it in for a PS3, and I've never been happier. The reason I hate the Wii are because of this:
1. Vomit inducing third-party support
2. Terrible online
3. Friend Codes are tedious
4. Disappointing first-party titles (Brawl, etc...)
5. The gimmick wears off after 2 weeks
6. Nothing good coming out
7. For more "casual gamers"
8. Virtual Console is laggy
9. Rehashes of first-party games (Twilight Princess, Mario Kart Wii, etc...)
10. Nintendo's E3 this year was a f***ing joke. Wii Music?! C'MON!
11. Last-gen graphics.
There. Done. LET THE FLAMING BEGIN! _________________
i pick sony, xbox is ok too but Wii is so childish. people who play video games are usually lazy, why would they turn something thats relaxing into a workout. i hope the next gen consoles dont all follow wii's example.
gotta be nintendo i know graphics are not the best but they are perfectly adequate for the games it has annnd its built for fun not power love mario kart _________________
I have played all 3 consoles and I still think the PS2 and now PS3 are the best.
I think they have different purposes really. the Wii is something I like to do at parties and with familie, not on my own. The X-box is more for online gaming and shooters, though I think buying an X-box 360 now is a waste of money.
and my beloved PS3 of course, with awesome graphics and pretty good games. _________________
