I'm really annoyed that they cut it so short, but you have to think how much money all those special effects cost, I bet they were at the end of their budget with the little bit that they did do.

It wasn't so much the lack of quiditch that annoyed me as it was the lack of Vella. I was so curious to see what they looked like, to see Ron and Harry tearing off their Ireland stuff, and the vella distracting the referee.

They cut so much out from the book, that the loss of the quidditch world cup was minor. You can't shove 700 pages into 2 hours... and I can't imagine how badly they're going to butcher book 5.

I really enjoyed reading the Quidditch parts. I understand why they had to take it out of the movie, I guess. Personally, I'd sit there for 8 million hours if they kept everything in the movies from the books.

Well, ok, maybe not 8 million...

I understand why it was cut out, but still, they got me all pumped up to see the match and then they cut to them in the tent. it was very disappointing.

THAT MADE ME SO MAD, they didnt even put a part in it, they didnt even specify that krum caught the snitch or even who won!
the only thing you have is when Fred/george (idk which one) said "looks like the irish are celebrating"

Me too, Quidditch is one of the best parts in the book.
