Most people don't really talk about Voldemort. The whole "You-Know-Who" and "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" thing. I think they are both equally as well known.

i think its the same cause if they have heard of voldemort they have heard of harrry and vise versa

They're both equally infamous.
One terrifies people - rules by fear.
The other gives hope.
If I had to choose, I'd said Harry would be more famous, as he's an inspiration, a chance that their world could heal.

Hmm....its hard to say I mean Voldemort has been around longer and pretty much every one seems to know who he is and what hes done in the past; however most of the people who know about him heard about Harry as well

You do see into Voldemort's past, but you do not know him no. Harry on the other head, well if you don't know about him than I sugges you re-read the books!

I'd say Harry is more noticed than Voldemort because even though Voldemort was quite a villain, who knew about him? Sure, a lot of people, but who made the headlines: Harry. Who ended up victorious? Harry. So thus I'll have to say Harry is more noticed than Voldemort.
