I don't think he looks like Edward, that they could have had a better choice.. but he's a decent actor, so he may be able to pull it off.

Eh, I honestly never really had a specific look for Edward when I was reading this book. I actually didn't have a specific look for anyone, which is weird. But I think Pattison looks okay for the part.

at first i wasnt so sure but know after seeing some of the behind the scenes footage and the cast photos i realise they picked perfectly. i love him as edward...he is soooo hot and has that look about him. im not sure how to describe it but you might know what i mean.

Mr. Robert Pattinson does not look like Edward in any way, but I think the thing with me, its because all these years I've thought of him as Cedric Diggory.

Actually yes, because I can't picture him as Edward, get it, it would have to be a new actor I've never seen, to play Edward, but that only applies to my crazy mind not everyones.

but you need to suspend any thoughts of Robert Pattinson only being one character in your mind.
If your a fan of Johnny Depp, you would find that its easier to forget about remembering him as one character only because he plays a huge range of different characters.

I think he makes a fine Edward, but I have also seen pictures of random insignificant people that I think would make good Edwards too. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and he was described in a book. No one said, "Oh, he looks like this person."
Ultimately, I think there are so many different opinions on what Edward should look like because everyone sees him as their ideal guy, which would be different for everyone.

I think you anti-Rob people should consider the fact that no one on the face of this earth could fit the part of Edward Cullen perfectly. ITS NOT POSSIBLE. But Robert fits this part so damn well.
