Narnia would have been another favourite magic book. I'd like to call my favourite fantasy book, Key to Rondo, a bit magic. _________________

the book dragon was pretty cool
and there was this story about a girl who saves a fairy but i forget the name.. those two are good books but book series? i would have to go with HP first because it kept my attention for 7 books. but after that probably the hobbit and the lord of the rings books
not that i like them so much but because it is the closest series that i have read (at least partially read) to HP. I am more of a horror story person myself so HP was something different for me. _________________

Artemis Fowl is quite cool, but it's not in the most classic way magical.
So... Earthsea is pretty cool too. _________________
