David Bowie is an old rock star from like the 60's through to present day. I fell in love with him (and his music lol) when i watched the movie "The Labyrinth" (which he not only starred in, but wrote and preformed all of the songs, as well) Unfortunately for me, he's about 60-something now.
He's produced too many songs, albums, and movies to name in one post! My favorite song that i've heard by him so far is probably "the man who sold the world" for which Nirvana did a cover.
He also did a voice character in one Spongebob Squarepants movie...it was the Atlantis one and Bowie did the voice of the king of Atlantis. |

I watched that Spongebob movie, I am inspired by Bowie. I remember his music video. "Lets Dance" and it had Australians in it, Aboriginals actually. I loved it. _________________

The only David Bowie song I like is Suffragette City. I've heard Changes and Major Tom to Ground Control too. Good stuff. _________________

yes, he is Ziggy Stardust, or at least he WAS. It was more of a short-lived alter-ego that spawned many records and movies.
I love "Suffragette City" as well. In fact it was stuck in my head yesterday when i was posting this thread. lol. |

I think David Bowie is one of the pop kings that were around in the 80's. He had all the fame. He is a great talent and a singer too...I heard that lead singer from Culture Club loves Bowie. _________________

| "The Prettiest Star" is a pretty awesome song, too, if anyone's heard that. |

I loved that one, but the one that standed out to me the most was "Lets Dance." _________________
