Bloomsbury has yet again refused to translate the Harry Potter books into Scottish Gaelic, even though little children all over Scotland have literally BEGGED them to do so for over four years now, by phone, post and email. It is a snub, and it is race hate against Scottish Gaelic Children, Jo Rowling was emailed several times about it (by myself including) and she refuses to respond. Please remember the Scottish Gaelic speaking children who are being pushed aside and whose language, culture, race and spirits are being trampled on by the jack-boots of people who have too much money to remember the little people, i.e. Glasgow Gaelic Primary for one. Jo Rowling, if you are reading this, I threw your books away and I won't have another in my house until Scottish Gaelic children get justice.

JKR has nothing to do with what languages Bloomsbury chooses to have the books translated into. You need to take it up with them, not her. Also, they might not publish books in that language. In which case, you would need to find a publisher who does. _________________

You must realize that Jo is not responsible for which languages Bloomsbury publishes in. When you said that you threw your books away and refuse to have another one until the Scottish Gaelic version comes out, I don't think she'd really care. I'm not saying that your opinion in unimportant, I'm just saying that there are so many fans out there and she can't exactly care about every one of them.
However, I do believe that children who speak Scottish Gaelic should be able to have HP books written in their own language. |

| Why not publish in Scottish Gaelic, or any other language not yet published? They would profit and the kiddies would be happy! |

Are you freakin' kidding?! No wonder they won't print the series in Gaelic. That looks like a mess of letters just thrown together. _________________ Amor Vincit Omnia!
