I read a review from a fan who had seen the screening of Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix and guess what...... No Quidditch!

well it really isn't necessary to the over all plot, it'll be missed but I understand why they'd cut it. my mom thinks they should be making a tv-series instead of movies, so that they can get everything in. maybe someday.

yeah, but a TV series wouldn't make enough money i don't think. having a movie would probably make more.

its abit sad i think.... but its right... hm...i know that HP movies always be interesting for me but i dont knof if i want to see 4 or 5th hurs film... anyway as you sayd there are many more important things in this film...

i found Weasley is our king, pritty annoying, so pleased that is being missed out. However I am gutted that they have scraped Quiddich. I love Quiddich.

but yeah.. i could see "Weasley is our King" getting really annoying in a movie. i was kinda "over it" well before it was dropped in the book.

Surely they have to at least mention the fact that Ron made the team? I love Quidditch, I always look forward to seeing it played on the big screen, but sadly I agree: there are many more important things to include in this film. Crying

Could that be from PS/SS when he saw himself in that mirror, perhaps? The one that shows you what you desire most? I forget if they actually showed that clip in the film...looks to me like someone just shopped a pic of Rons head on the body of another player, the crown doesn't look all that convincing either...just my take on things :: shrug ::

it would be difficult, because thay also have to cut stuff out from the 6th movie... if they did add any of this in, they would have to take more out...

Yeah, but if they chop out quidditch completely from the next film, they're going ot have a hard time setting up the Harry/Ginny kiss. Let's see what they pull out of their arses to make a huge party in the Common Room for.

Me too!
They most likely will be able to squeeze it in the 6th film. It won't be to difficult, but they can just add it to one of the quiddich scenes (which the better have)!!!!
