Yeah, he doesn't get nekkid, though. Razz
He plays a therapist in the play... Daniel Radcliffe's character's therapist, to be specific.

Is it me or does it seem like a lot of the cast from Harry Potter seem to be in the same movies/plays?

Yeah I noticed that.
I know it was made before the Harry Potter films, but I noticed it in Sleepy Hollow!

Well, some of the best actors in the English-speaking world were cast in Harry Potter, such as Alan Rickman, Richard Griffiths, and Dame Maggies SMith. It's only natural that casting directors, directors, and producers would jump at the chance to work with them.

In this case, the idea to do Equus was Kenneth Branagh's idea originally... while he was filming CoS as Lockhart he had mentioned wanting to do a production of the show. Eventually, as time passed, Kenneth Branagh dropped from the production. But Daniel Radcliffe and Richard Griffiths remianed on board.
It's not strange that Richard Griffiths was also involved in the show, he is such a celebrated actor, having won a Tony award two years ago for his role in The History Boys, which also had Frances de la Tour (Madame Maxime) in it.
The HP production staff really did cast very celebrated actors. Most of the actors were in productions together way before Harry Potter, but it's more noticable to us now and much more common, since more time has past and more movies have been made.
Before HP, Daniel was in David Copperfield with Dame Maggie Smith, Zoë Wanamaker, Imelda Staunton and even Dawn French.
The list of movies like that, with multiple HP actors in it, is really long. There is another thread somewhere... in the GH, I think, where I played 7 degress of seperation with them.

Well, so far we only know for sure that it's going to be on Broadway. I don't know if they have plans on travelling afterwards. If it does, then Daniel Radcliffe with not be travelling with it. This is because filming allegedly starts on DH in January... and he'll be in Equus up utnil then on Broadway.
