lol that thing is so annoying, got it pre from HP, bugged the hell out of it, even though i uninstalled, that activation thing was still there, use force uninstaller to uninstall the whole thing

simple delete them and remove the recycle bin, place it in another path, or hide it.

You don't need icons to run the program silly. Some people prefer to run things from the start menu or from the program files folder/Hard drive.

I, myself, try and keep no icons on my desktop. (Except the recycling bin of course). Razz

Icons are pointless shortcut files that lead to the actual path. The more Icons on your desktop the slower the desktop loads on boot, and the slower a shutdown is, it can also slow down things when using the explorar.exe itself.

put them on your start menu or taskbar.

makes wallpapers a hellova lot easier
