Has anyone read any of the fantasy books by David Gemmell? He wrote roughly 25-30 of them, and I have about 15 of them. Within those books, there is the Rigante series, the Drenai saga (my favorite), The Stones of Power Cycle, and most recently, the Troy series. (those three aren't fantasy), And there are books that aren't part of a series too. If you ever want to start reading his books, read the Drenai Saga first if you can. Too bad Gemmell died....he could've continued writing more awesome books. He died in the middle of writing his last book, the third one of the Troy series. His wife finished it then. Gemmell's books are my second favorite, only bested by Harry Potter, of course.
