I mean... it's not entirely likely. But it's possible... isn't it?

Hints: Luna's prolonged laugh at Ron's joke, she looking at Ron as though he's a mildly interesting TV programme though he's rude to her, she singing "Weasley is our King" to herself... etc.

I could see where people would get that...but I dunno. She also remembered that he went to the Yule Ball with Padma Patil. Maybe she payed extra attention to Ron because she'd heard about him a lot from Ginny.

I definitely absolutely without a doubt think she had a crush on Ron. Had. I think she's over him by the end of OotP because she notices how mean he is. She tends to not grasp reality too well, but this she notices and that is meaningful.

I don't think so because she says that Ron is mean sometimes. I can't remember the exact words - something like this:

"He does come up with funny things doesn't he? But he can be mean, I noticed that last year"

I doubt Luna has a crush on him..

ALSO, Just because someone is good friends with someone, doesn't mean they fancy them. ^_^

I agree with GinnyX here. When I read OotP I noticed it a little bit, but I think it was just there to show how oblivious Ron can be to girls. He didn't notice it at all.

When I read ootp I was 100% sure that Luna had a crush on ron, but I think she was over it by hbp. She noticed that ron had no interest in her and gave up on him

I did think that she had a crush on Ron on OotP.
She does notice and remember the little things Ron did just like a person who fancies someone does.
But by HBP, it was gone.

Yeah, lol..I remember when I read book 5 (or was it 6 I remember this? I think 5, lol..) that she seemed like she liked him, but more at the end it seemed not.

I never really noticed it before, but I think that GinnyX has some really good support for the pairing. Of course, it could all be counted as some of Luna's oddities, but the Ron/Luna pairing definitely has some merit to it. Great research, btw.

I think it's definitely possible, likely actually. But if she does like him he doesn't like her back... Poor Luna. I see it as a definite possibility though, all her actions around him and stuff make sense. Good job of bringing up the topic.

aww that would be kinda cute but it would completetly ruin hermionie and ron, hermionie would go bizerk like she did with lavender. i dont think shed stand for it again, but yah cute non-the-less Smile
