Hello, everyone. This is the thread about the new Movie Jumper.

I saw this movie when it came out and i thought it was fantastic. The critics said it was a bad movie with a horrible story line -- I disagree.
I thought the movie was brilliant and i thought the action scenes where great.

This movie rocked. So please tell me what you think of that movie. Thanks. Very Happy

well I tried watching it while talking to friends, and had to leave it for a bit so I got really confused about what was going on and thus didn't like it. I never finished though...I gave up. Maybe if I could watch it in a less distracting environment I could enjoy it though.

same thing happened to me, i was at the drive in and we were just talking so weren't paying attention. so i disliked it and we left, but if i watched it in silence and alone then my verdict could be different.

Yeah, Rachel Bilson is in it.

The movie is about a kid who can sort-of.... travel really fast. He just sort of jumps to the next place. And some people want to hunt him down because of it.

Here is the plot outline for the movie from imdb.com. And actually, this outline is really spoilery...
Spoiler:

A genetic anomaly allows a young man to teleport himself anywhere. He discovers this gift has existed for centuries and finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between "Jumpers" and those who have sworn to kill them.

It wasn't the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life. I liked it, it was a cool movie, but not my favorite. I think Hayden's acting was better in it than any of the Star Wars movies he did.

I just watched it for the first time last week and thought it was okay. As an average-quality movie, it had some neat stuff, but was missing a lot of stuff that would have made it better. Just alright.

Hayden Christianson was a better actor in this movie then in Star Wars #2 and #3, but he still has a lot of work to do.
