i hope they'll never cut out the wedding scene and also they need to cast bill right away ASAP!! and shell cottage should also never be cut coz that's the place where they buried poor dobby.

Then they have to force the fluer actor to work with them since none of the options will work

Iam very anxious as to the Wedding scene in DH's. I mean, we have not yet had a Bill Weasley cast, and Fleur is not to be in the HBP movie that is out this year. This means if they ARE going to add Fleur and Bill's wedding in DH, the audience are going to become confused (i mean non- hp fans or those who have not read the books) as they might not remember who Fleur is or know who Bill is. And the films have to try and make everthing make sense from the following film for these people who have not read the books, so it has to be put across clearly. I have discussed with a few people that they director could easily change it from Bill and Fleurs Wedding to Tonks and Remus's wedding, which would make sense to the non hp fans as they would know who these characters are as they have been introduced a few times before...well Lupin has. There wouldn;t be so much of a gap from seeing Fleur than there is from seeing Tonks and Lupin. This coulod work however i would love it to be Bill and Fleurs wedding, not Lupins Smile

they shouldn't need to cut her out tbh

since its going to be 2 films they should have enough time to keep near enough to the book as possible..

and fleur has a pretty big part in it

I hate to disagree with most of you guys, but I never felt like Bill and Fleur were necessary characters while reading the book, and therefore I certainly don't feel like they're necessary in the movies.

Bill and Fleur seemed to have their own little story: they fall in love, Mrs. Weasley hates Fleur, Bill becomes a partial warewolf, Fleur loves him anyways, Mrs. Wealsey now loves Fleur, they get married.

But if you ask me, their little story had nothing to do with the main plotline and nothing to do with Harry.

In the 7th book, their wedding was simply an excuse for Harry to get info on the Dealthy Hallows symbol, and to find out more about Dumbledore.

And then at Shell Cottage, all they did was give Harry and the gang shelter and warn them to be careful of trusting goblins. Shell Cottage could easily be replaced with...anywhere else.

So I don't think they're necessary. If they do get cast in DH, I'll be happy because it will follow the book more closely....if they don't, it's no real loss in my mind.

There have been snippets roaming around the rumour mill that Fluer will not be cast in HBP.

I think they'll make a big thing of her at the wedding because thats when the Ministry is taken over and they go on the run. Its a uge part in the book so I'm sure they'll put it in detail. Also, when they arrive at Shell cotage with Dobby, I think her part will be much smaller than in the book so i think the only part she will have is at the wedding.
