"Such terrible luck dear, me being allergic to cats with yellow eyes. We must dispose of this . . . thing. I if you wish, will do the tragic deed of killi- er disposing of it" said Moody in a hopefull voice.

"You can't honestly think that we are going to allow you to kill her cat?" Gregory said aloud.

Most people in the group seemed surprised by his outburst and... courage?

"There will be no killing if you wish us to help you. But I think we need to discuss this if we are to help you. I cannot make this decision on my own. Does anyone else have an opinion? Obviously this could be the adventure we were looking for!"

"You couldn't kill her easily, anyway." Lilith said. "She's more likely to kill you, actually."
The cat jumped from her shoulder, landed softly on the ground and suddenly started growing. Soon, a full grown black panther was sitting licking her paw lazily.
"I said she wasn't just some pet." Lilith laughed.

"Yes, yes lovely" Moody growled. "Which house did the sorting hat put you lot in? Hufflepuff no doubt for you, my lady" he said turning to Lilith with a bemused smile. "Gryffindor I suppose for you Gregory" he said staring into the depths of the other's eyes, as if searching for something. Moody tore his gaze away. "So lets put it to a vote, who wants to help out this kindly, old man eh?"

*Draven stepped foward.* Well, Mr. Moody, if we help you what would you do for us? We just wanted to check out that forrest before your little friend came along. *Draven glared at the man, and patted Tak on the head.* And to get to her, you'll have to go through me. *Draven bore his razor sharp fangs, eyes glowing red. He gazed into the man's eyes, as if reading something.* I know you have more of a motive than you let on!

Lilith grinned at Draven and said to Moody, "Actually, I'm a Gryffindor. Aren't as smart as you act, hm?"
Tak purred a greeting at Draven then shot a fierce growl at Moody. She always made it clear who she disliked.

"The way I see it, you lot have two choices. First, you must keep in mind that you came here for an adventure and if you come with me you certainly get one. Also, did I not save you from the Acromantulas?" said Moody throwing a slight smirk at Gregory. "Without me you'd already be dead" he said meeting the eyes of everyone in the group. "With me you will have protection, and although you may not like me" he said turning to Lillith, "you will still be safe."

"On the other hand, you could leave me here and have fun taking pictures of pretty unicorns and perhaps making a leaf collection" he smirked. "Does not bravery come with Gryffindor?" he said turning to Gregory and Lilith. "Prove it" he said almost shouting.

The group gathered in a circle as Moody impatiently waited for the vote. Moody stalked behind Draven and without anyone noticing whispered in his ear "Use leglimency all you want. . . I am a master occlumens."

"Very well then, very well" Moody said with a faint smile. "There is a village several miles to the east, to which we must traverse. Tonight however, we catch up on our sleep. Werewolves roam these woods, Moody said gloomily glancing at the full moon, so two people ought to remain watch at the same time and we can rotate." "Draven -he added a nasty smile- and I will take the first watch." he said with a nasty grin

Werewolves, she mused in her mind. Never actually met a werewolf. Oh, how fun this journy will be ...
She climbed a strong Holly tree and sat on a branch, Tak had leaped onto a higher one.

"Ah well, since the rotation is settled, I will catch some sleep!" Gregory yawned. "Everyone else take out your tents or conjure them if you must and get your sleeping bags. NO FIRES! We don't want to attract any unwanted attention, we must keep it as dark as possible."

Lilith returned the smile. but then it faded as she looked around. They couldn't possibly watch everywhere. She bit her lip and closed her eyes. She had read about a Force Field Charm, but she couldn't remember it. She just knew it would make sure nothing could get inside a certain area.

Gregory was asleep but it was obvious he was having nightmares. Although anyone who could hear him was unsure if what they might encounter next would be more or less dangerous than what Lockhart was conjuring in his own mind at the moment...

Moody stiffened. He sat up slowly a faint rustle was barely audible over the wind and strained to cipher between the breaking of twigs and Gregory's continuous mutterings. Moody cleared his throat, much louder than necessary and thought he heard the mutterings cease. He heard several people stirring behind him but dared not take his eyes off the shadow.
The silence was pierced with a scream from somewhere behind. Moody spun around, expecting werewolves, but instead a girl was frantically backing away from a herd of centaurs. They were surrounded. The group of teens gathered in a tight circle, all members wide awake. "Are you fella's hostile?" Moody asked, trying to sound more confident than he was.

A fully grown lion watched from the shadows of the trees as the teens, the centaurs, and the man named Moody conversed. He watched and hoped that the moment he was waiting for was coming soon. One of those people is a traitor. Leo could just sense it.

The Centaur's gathered around the entire group encircling them.
