I was actually thinking about that last night when I heard that another preacher at his church was being criticised... and he once again seperated himself from the pastor. I thought, why doesn't he just leave the church already?

Not really. He would of gave it up a long time ago if he did not believe what his paster was saying.

Yes that could be part of the reason. But maybe after all that he heard he finally realized how ludacris this man was being and decided to leave.

Ok.. I give him that. But in my opinion from what I have seen of him I honestly don't think that's the reason.

We really don't know for a fact if he agrees with those pastors and is only distancing himself for political reasons or if he truly disagrees with them.

I dont know. Probably....

Obama supporters will most likely see him as you do.. More appealing.

Hilliary supporters will most likely see him as I do.. Just doing it to make himself look better.

It's just the matter of opinion and who you support.

But I honestly can not say because I am not them.

^ I agree. People are going to read into it what they want. The only person who knows the truth is Obama himself.

OF course. Both Obama and Hilary are going to do things that make them more appealing. that is how of course you win the election. And Obama is more appealing to his supporters and that might be the case for Hillary supporters also.

Rev. Wright had been at that church for a long time, and so had Obama. If Obama truly disagreed with his former pastor, he would have left a long time ago. It's reasonable to assume that Obama has some similar views. The only thing that makes sense to me is he's just doing it to make himself look better to voters - but smart people will realize there's just something not right about this whole thing. I don't trust Obama, I don't trust Clinton. But I don't really trust McCain either. Out of all of them, Clinton is probably the most trustworthy, as much as I hate to say it. She's probably the craziest out of all of them though.
