Harry hurried to platform Nine and Three quarters with the trolley, trying to calm Hedwig as he ran. "C'mon we're going to miss the train." he called back to Ron and Hermione who were behind him with Ginny.

Draco walked along the train, peering into all the compartments until he found an empty one. He motioned for Crabbe and Goyle to follow him inside. Then he looked out the window and noticed Potter and his friends entering the platform.
Hermione followed Harry. She did'nt really care where they sat as long as it was far far away from Draco Malfoy. She could not wait to sit down her trunk weighed a ton.

"Actually, Potter, if I wanted to attack you, I'd do it myself," said Draco, leading the way to his compartment and holding open the door for Harry. "I wouldn't trust them for that. They'd probably just end up stunning themselves. They haven't exactly got much brains."

"It's not poisoned, you know," said Draco, motioning at the uneaten pasty. He was trying to stall, trying to figure out what he really wanted to say. "Let's just say...that I sort of regret my past actions...and I'd like to offer you my friendship again."
