I have it, cause i dont have the cash to shell out for CS3 for my mac. Its kinda hard to get used to. But if you google tutorials youll learn quick.

I used to have it, but like you I never really got into it cuz of the fact that it's sort of confusing.
I have CS3 now. :]

I have GIMP because Kino told me to get it..
After tinkering with it a bit, I made my signature, which I'm pretty proud of.

Yeah, that's what I used before I got PS.
Here's some stuff I made with GIMP....
So it's not that bad of a program. Plus it was easy to make GIFs with it.

I am trying to make my first signature using GIMP and I have two pictures on a blank canvas, but it will only let me select one picture to scale down.

You should have a 'Layers, Channels....' and there should be layers, and you can select them off that.
If its not that I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I have that programme too... it's quite difficult... I have tried to turn it into Greek, but some things are still in English and they're the ones I need to translate... it seem quite difficult... I have used other programmes in English but it's more difficult to understand this one... I'm trying to fing another easier programme to make pictures...
