Today, Americans honor those who have given their lives in service to the USA. We pause to reflect upon the true meaning of the day and to pay tribute to the brave men and women who died defending freedom and our liberties around the world.

Message said by usrbingeek, owner and chairman of board for irc.wyldryde.org, also known as Steve, this was a global message.

I miss going with my grandma to lay flowers on graves. nice fresh flowers from her garden. we'd fill baskets full. we did it every year until last year she was too sick. my mom wanted to carry on the tradition this year, but the timing didn't work out right, with my sister visiting this week.

In Canada it's called "Rememberance Day" just so you know and it is held around in February.

Oh yes, because we all have memorials right next to our houses that is just so convenient.
