disagree. I blame so much on that man!

*Nigel (who??? what happened to Dennis?)
* Beauxbatons and Durmstrang being same-sex schools--this makes sense how?
*No Dobby (no winky for that matter but not as bad)
*wooshing death eaters...some people call it flying. ONLY VOLDY AND SNAPE CAN FLY.
*not seeing the world cup match
*Hermione pmsing all the fricken time
*aggressive Dumbledore
*Harry inexplicably running TOWARDS the Death Eaters and then randomly passing out...he can't have been knocked that hard.

I"m sure there's more, I'll update when I think of them. It really was my least favorite hp movie. I can handle changes...but only when the rest of it is good enough to make me not care. OotP a lot was left out and changed, but I was entertained enough it didn't bother me. GoF on the other hand...I spent the whole time going WTF.

haha, you remember my biggest pet peeve... Nigel. Stupid Nigel.

I hated the random Harry/Hermione shipping. That scene on the bridge between the two of them was the worst scene in the entire film franchise.

I didn't read any romance into that bridge scene, so I don't mind it. why can't they have a heart to heart talk if they're just friends?

I think the fact that Ron wasn't there and by this time they had all made up... and the fact that Viktor was mentioned... and the comments she makes are almost lovingly, more so than friendly. It all added up to a shipping scene for me. That was the fist time the two of them had been alone together without Ron in any of the movies, except when Ron was unconscious during the chess game. I just thought it was fishy that they have a scene together where she tells him she doesn't like Viktor and how she cares about Harry while overlooking beautiful scenery together... it just seemed all awkward for me.

which wasn't bad? as I say I loved OotP and Yates despite all the cuts and changes he made. I can say so because I was so genuinely entertained that those things didn't bother me. and actually Yates got handed a lot of stuff messed up already, mostly because of Newell.

He was stuck with
*Nigel
*no Dobby since CoS
*wooshing death eaters
*Rita Skeeter never being caught

and for hbp he is stuck with all that plus fleur barely having been in GoF, there isn't enough basis there to bring her back really.

First of all, they both suck. Second of all, with the magic that Jo gives us in the books the term "not bad" should never have had to apply to any of the movies. Fans understood from the beginning that the movies wouldn't include nearly anything from the books, we just didn't expect these direstors to completely mutilate the books in translation.

BLASPHEMY! This movie was horrible. They get more Hollywood as they go, and this one is horribley Hollywood. It included none of the charm that the movies had in the beginning, and the changes made it barely hardly a movie based on Jo's work at all. Even with what the past few movies left him to work with, he could have salvaged it. It also pisses me off that he wasn't a Potter fan to begin with. With all of the Potter fans in the world, surely they can find a good director who happened to be one before-hand.

I really liked the movie. well by the time we got to hogwarts...the start was shaky. but as I said I really enjoyed the rest of it, where as during GOF I was like OH MY GOD WHAT IS THIS TRAVESTY BEFORE MY EYES. lol which sounds like you during OotP probably Razz but I know lots of people love GoF...it takes all kinds I guess haha

lol, yeah that was me with OotP. It's me favorite book, though. My best friend's favorite book in PoA, and to this day she maintains that that movie is the worst one.

Compared to GoF, OotP was a masterpiece, in my opinion, lol.

I like David Yates better than Mike Newell. I can tell the difference of GOF and OOTP.

GoF; Newell:

We have a cute Harry/Hermione ship. "I care for you Harry OH TEH BUTTERFLIEZ11"
We have the woosh woosh disapparation. Which, OH THE IRONY, makes me wonder why do the Death Eaters apparate as black wooshing things, the Order as white wooshing things, while Fred and George at OotP apparate normally. /ponder
We also have... or... we don't have... the Quidditch World Cup, which is one of my favorite chapters in the entire series.
We also have... or... we don't have... Winky, Dobby, S.P.E.W.
We also have... or... we don't have... SKREWTZ!
We also have... or... we don't have... or... we actually, sadly, have Nigel.
SCREW YOU, NIGEL!
And double-you-tee-eff is wrong with the Patils? Parvati is described as good looking in the books in my eyes. o.o

Although Yates still has my respect for making the worst movie ever, that gave tears in my eyes, that made me want to murder people.
OoTP.
