How come so few people went with harry to the department of mysteries when there were tons of DA members. Wouldnt you want more people with you when youre fighting voldemort? _________________

Yeah but how retarded is harry that he only took those people
Obviously, you're not listening. He. didn't. want. to. take. anyone. He only took the others along, because they wouldn't take no for an answer. He didn't even want Ron and Hermione to come along. It even says in the book that of all of the members of the DA, Ginny, Luna, and Nevilla would be the last ones that he would ask along on a dangerous trip. Besides, they all did a really good job. _________________

I think it was pretty stupid. I know Harry just wanted everyone to be safe, but he needs to learn that other want to help as well. _________________ "Just because you've got the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have," said Hermione.
What struck me is how some of the most lethal members of the most feared wizarding terrorist group in Britain couldn't subdue six school-age students. The Death Eaters are blundering oafs throughout the series, why would Voldy entrust anything to them?
There are two types of Death Eaters: 1. Those whose principles are similar to Voldemort's: they hate Muggles and Muggleborns and want to eradicate them etc. 2. Wizards who aren't very bright and are looking for a bit of power.
The latter seems to be the majority, unluckily for Voldemort. _________________ "I can make things move without touching them. I can make bad things happen to people who are mean to me." -- Tom Riddle (HBP movie).

Aside from Lucious, Bellatrix, etc, most of the Death eaters are normal wizards. maybe even below average people. They aren't necessarily bright, or good wizards.
Plus, it doesn't say how many death eaters were there, does it? It could have been only 10 or so, who knows?
I think the biggest reason, besides Harry being the hero and all, is because he needed people who knew Sirius was innocent. Ron, Ginny, and Hermione already knew, Luna thought he was Stubby Boardman, and Neville was so involved in actually getting some action, he really trusted Harry on it. Think about Harry trying to bring Zacharias Smith, or Cho Chang. That was obviously not going to happen. _________________ Don't hate my ship because it's canon.

That would have been the case, had Harry wanted others to come. He didn't want anyone to come though.
yeah, harry doesn't want to take risk of his friend life.
Spoiler:
remeber that when harry have to break with ginny just because he doesn't wanna if voldermort will kill her. so. harry dont want to take risk of ginny life.
