its sad over here... i havent met that many asian gays... but weve got quite a lot over here. the gays here are actually fun and friendly and lovable. but theyre totally ostracized by the men. but at least we females find them fun to be with. so many gay guys are part of all-female cliques. haha... _________________

im not joking if they find out your gay they will dishonorably discharge you. apparently if your gay you dont have a right to defend your country. _________________

You mean the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy? It's absolute rubbish that gays aren't accepted into the military as equals.
Spoiler:
While the phrase "don't ask, don't tell" wasn't used at that January 29, 1993, press conference, that's what everyone soon began calling the policy. It boiled down to this: the government would no longer "ask" recruits if they were gay, and so long as military personnel didn't "tell" anyone of their sexual preference — and didn't engage in homosexual acts — they were free to serve. But, by the end of 1993, opponents of the change, led by Georgia Democrat Sam Nunn, who chaired the Senate Armed Services Committee, succeeded in writing into law the ban on openly gay men and lesbians in uniform. Barring the pre-enlistment question about homosexuality "was the only compromise Congress let Clinton get away with," says Elaine Donnelly, president of the non-profit Center for Military Readiness which supports continuing the ban.
Slightly off topic, but I just noticed your sig and I was wondering if you've ever seen this before... I saw your sig and it remined me of this....

This is actually good to know, if I ever get drafted I'm definately telling them I am. Call me whatever you want but I would not fight in war, unless it actually had good reasoning behind it, which in this day is highly unlikely. _________________

if you try to get out by saying your gay youll have to prove it... theyd be suspecting something like that. i knew a few people that tried to get out of boot camp by saying they were gay. but i tell you one thing, dont sign the dotted line then say your gay. having a dishonorable discharge is a bad thing and a black mark against you... like you committed a crime and you wont get certain jobs or people might not hire you because of it. _________________

They're not allowed to ask you if you're gay anymore... that was the condition of this policy. It removed this question from the sign-up sheet. Being gay doesn't get you out of the draft anymore, neither does being a student or being female.
Now, after you get drafted and you're (for instance) caught in gay sexual relations, they can dishonerably discharge you, which is not a good thing, like Vasaver said. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate. ~ Bob Dylan "To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. nope sure isnt... so now i know how those two got out... they er did the naughty... wow im innocent... i just maybe they had to prove something. _________________

That's the wonderful hypocrisy of it. Heterosexual couples can fall in love, get married, live together on the army bases and everything. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate. ~ Bob Dylan "To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. would you go through with proving it to avoid the draft? lol
Like I said, being gay doesn't get you out of the draft anymore, hun. It could get you discharged, though... which in some cases is almost as bad as being in the army. _________________ Blame it on a simple twist of fate. ~ Bob Dylan "To commemorate a past event, you kill and eat an animal. actually there are some sexual deeds that can get heterosexuals kicked and dishonorably discharged.
look at your own risk

anal, blow jobs
shouldn't they encourage them? their female personnel would be less likely to get pregnant _________________ They say home is where the heart is, so your real home's in your chest. --Captain Hammer
I saw some guy with a sticker the other day that said marriage = man + woman. It made me very mad but I live in California so it was kind of ironic I saw that and then the next day it was legalized.
Well that is the tradition definition of marriage, but tradition shouldn't be kept as our society grows and finds that it conflicts with our rights. It's like having a bumper sticker that's pro-slavery just because once upon a time slavery was the norm. _________________

*rubs ravvy's tummeh* Well if you didn't have so many damn people in that bed, you wouldn't get kicked so much! That depends, what happens once you're discharged? But I would gladly do that the lose my life, that's all I have.

It's the definition from a religious point of view. Which is why I think it's ridiculous. I know what you mean though. _________________
