Nice system, it will be extremely fast and much load laid off with out vista. I do agree for laptops that Vista should not be used at all do to how slow it works.

Yeah, Thats the system with upgrades. The stock is still a pretty good system itself but my friend upgraded it. (I could use the hdd room as well.)

I recommend you making sure you have the best warranty possible for that, and 2GB on XP, no need for an upgrade ever. How much in all is this system? and what exactly does "customized" version of Windows XP SP2 come with?

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with Windows XP and its 80 GB??? I think, that's all I know about it, I'm not much of a computer person, I get people to check it for me to make sure its ok LOL

i've got a dell lattitude d630 laptop with an intel core 2 duo t9500 @ 2.6 ghz and 4 gb's of ram and 128 mb nvidia quadro nvs 135m video card.

for my pvr machine at home, i've got a mini-itx board with a 1ghz c3 processor running a trimmed down version of koppix and mythtv

i don't even remember the specs of my main tower, i haven't turned it on in a few years. i built it a few years ago, and i know is has an amd cpu, but i'm not even sure what range.
